Orwell Biography

One of my favorite writers who I often draw inspiration from is George Orwell. His works balance fiction and reality, serving as a warning for a dark future that may await us. Orwell manages to capture the complexity and nuances of society and societal problems with simple and bold technique, which is what I aimed to do in my layout.

The work uses standard grid systems and only breaks the grid structure where necessary, or where it could throw the reader off, giving the booklet a modern appeal for younger generations who I’d encourage to read Orwell’s novels.
